Allgards-Flucks 

An early school was built around 1760. The "current" schoolhouse was built later at a cost of $1,174.99. In 1880 a teacher was dismissed due to her creulty to children. This school may have been the first school to have transportaion provieded within the township. It was sold after WWII for $2,550

Myers- Bartholomews

Center- Otts

A previous building existed at this site. This building was deemed unfit for the current needs of a school, and a new school was constructed in 1879 at a cost of $629.00. This building was sold at auction in 1957. 

Bedminster

Portions of this building predate 1870. This school was very crowded, with over 67 children spread across all 8th grades recorded in one year. An addition was added on in 1900. 

Deep Run

There had been many previous religious and German schools in this area before the public school. The public school began construction in 1875 with a contract awarded for $1,024. An outhouse was later built at a cost of $14. The authors of Bedminster History book note that teacher J. Franklin Fretz would take his students on field trips, such as to the Almshouse and Courthouse. 

Fretz Valley

Multible buildings were built on this site, including an early pay school and other schools. Another schoolhouse was built in 1854 with the building and land sold to the Bedminster School Board for $8 at a later date. The building was replaced in 1878, with this building destroyed in a windstorm in 1923. A precut building was then constructed in the fall of 1923, with a porch added in 1925. The school was sold after WWII for $1,000. 

Moods

A previous school existed on this location. In 1872, the School Board decided to construct a new school made of stone at a cost of $1,190.

Pipersville

In 1870, a previous building on the site was sold for $25 and a new school was constructed for  $939.50. The new school was made out of stone, with walls 18 inches thick and a slate roof.  There was a total of 28 desks ordered. A second room was added around 1913. 

Smiths-Owlsburg

A previous school was located here named the Owlsburg School. A new school was built in 1875 at a cost of $1,127 and an outhouse at a cost of $14. Electricity was installed in 1943.
